Dr. Jacqueline Merced is a family chiropractor in the North Virginia area. She cares for children, adults and pregnant women. Her mission is that the families _achieve a better quality of life by maximizing the body’s natural ability to heal itself_.
Dr. Jacqueline Merced graduated from the University of Puerto Rico in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Human Biology. She acquired her degree of Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, Georgia in 2014. She is currently a member of the ICPA; an organization dedicated to educate the benefits of chiropractic care for pregnant women and children. Dr. Merced’s passion is to serve and educate the community about the importance of chiropractic care.
Dr. Merced has an additional certification in Pediatric Chiropractic and believes that chiropractic care should begin with infancy. Chiropractic adjustments for children are very gentle, safe and effective. Some of the benefits in chiropractic care for children include: improvement in colic, reflux, bed wetting, asthma, ADHA, ear ache, constipation and other common ailments.
Dr. Merced practices Webster’s Technique for pregnant women. This technique is _safe and gentle and focuses on analyzing and correcting sacral subluxation for the purpose of restoring pelvic balance and nerve system function_. This allows the mother’s body to perform optimally during the birthing process.
Dr. Jacqueline Merced has worked in North Virginia since 2014, working on Woodbridge, Gainesville and Old Town Manassas. Balanced Life Chiropractic was founded on November 2018 and is now currently accepting new patients.
